Andrew Brackett is a Lighting and Scenic Designer currently based in Central Nebraska. He is the Assistant Professor of Lighting Design and Stage Management at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, teaching classes in Theatrical Design and Technology, managing the shops, and overseeing the lighting and management of departmental productions. Andrew has his MFA in Theater Design and Technology from Northern Illinois University specializing in Lighting Design. Following graduate school, Andrew had a post-graduate teaching fellowship at Shenandoah University. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in 2008 with a BA in Technical Theater and Architecture. Professionally, Andrew has worked for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Disney Cruise Line, and has designed and technical directed for several theater companies and high schools.
